WHO WE ARE

TA Ventures is an agile early-stage VC firm with a global reach and a focus on tech-enabled, capital-light business models with strong unit economics and proven defensibility. Normally, we do not lead our rounds and co-invest alongside high-profile VC funds. Over the 9+ years of working in VC, we have developed and honed relationships with leading global investors and corporates, whose interests span across industries and stages. Drawing upon our network, we support our portfolio companies by proactively soliciting large, growth-minded co-investors in subsequent rounds. We utilize our industry knowledge and network to give portfolio companies and partner VCs access to the highly skilled and cost-effective R&D outsourcing teams in Central and Eastern Europe.

Viktoriya Tigipko

Viktoriya is the General Partner of TA Ventures, who founded the fund in late 2010. Prior to her work at TA Ventures, Viktoriya led multiple business initiatives in construction and machinery distribution, created the largest IT conference in CEE, IDCEE. In addition, Viktoriya is the Founder of iClub (a high-profile co-investor club), the President of Odesa International Film Festival (the largest film festival in CEE by audience size), the Chairman of Ukrainian Film Academy Supervisory Board and the co-founder of WTECH (the first community for female leaders in tech in Ukraine). Viktoriya earned her M.S. from Kyiv National Economics University and Vienna University of Economics and Business and MBA from UC Berkeley.

TBDF Ventures LLC (TBDFV), the organizer of Beyond The Billion (BTB), is a company serving the global consortium of investors pledged to invest beyond $1bn collectively into women-founded technology companies and funds and firms that invest in them. BTB builds on the success of The Billion Dollar Fund for Women, the initial campaign co-founded by our founders.
