Dux Capital

WHO WE ARE

Dux Capital Fund II is not just a $35 million seed fund investing in agnostic tech-enabled startups; it’s a catalyst for change, set in Austin, a city where innovation meets diversity. But why focus on the Latinx market? Let me paint a vivid picture for you. In a nation where Latinx individuals constitute 19% of the population, their economic output stands at a staggering $2.8 trillion. Now, this is good but the opportunity lies in the additional $2.3 trillion that Latinos can generate if economic parity is achieved. Picture this—5 million businesses established, surpassing the growth of their counterparts. Yet, despite these achievements, Latinx entrepreneurs face hurdles— lack of network, smaller contracts, longer deal closures, and a mere 2% of Venture Capital funding. Nevertheless, within this challenging landscape, Latinx entrepreneurs embody resourcefulness, resilience, and a profound awareness of their unit economics. Their stories are marked by determination, echoing the beating heart of a community destined for greatness. Investing in Latinx isn’t just a strategic move; it’s an embrace of opportunities waiting to unfold.
