Isaac Olowolafe Jr. is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Dream Maker Corporation Inc. Over the last decade, the vertically integrated company he created has grown to include real estate, wealth management, property management, education, development, private equity, and insurance divisions. Starting Dream Maker Ventures in 2015 initially to provide mentorship and capital to local small and medium-size businesses, Dream Maker Ventures (DMV) has invested in companies within growing industries from artificial intelligence to fintech and virtual reality. As of 2018, this has spanned over 15 companies and $5 million, with notable startups including Hopper, Hubba, Casalova, Smooth Commerce and Gimme360 in the portfolio, among others. A distinguished businessman and philanthropist, Isaac also has close ties to both Ryerson University and the University of Toronto through his passion for community involvement. In 2010, he decided to establish The Dream Maker Realty/Olowolafe Family Scholarship Award in support of students in the African Studies program at the University of Toronto, provided by the UniversityÕs New College. At Ryerson, inspired in part by its real estate management program and Yonge Street location, he made a significant donation to the University to back young entrepreneurs. Unveiled in 2016, the University recognized this by initially naming an area of the library located within the Student Learning Centre the Dream Maker Digital Media Experience Space, now known as the Isaac Olowolafe Jr. Digital Media Experience Lab (DME).
